Back in 1998 I started River Valley Home Care to provide home care services to people in our community.

Administrator

I started working at River Valley Home Care in the Fall of 2017. My position is Administrator and my job duties include Agency Planning, Development and Maintenance. I spent the first 17 years of my career in the banking industry. I started as a teller, went to receptionist and then went to Operations. Working in operations, I was an EIP Specialist, Deposit Operations Specialist, Deposit Administration supervisor and then Project Coordinator. Most recently I spent time in technology as a Technical Support Specialist and later became the Technical and Operations Supervisor. I graduated from Farmington High School and received my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Phoenix. My hobbies include spending time with family, camping, music and reading.

Director of Nursing

I was an RN Case Manager at River Valley Home Care Inc for 3 years before my current role as DON. I graduated from St Cloud State University with a degree in psychology and minor in business. When our first son was born, I decided to stay home with him. 10 years later once both boys were in school, I went back to school to be a RN and graduated with my ADN from Normandale Community College. I love what I do. I love being able to help the nurses provide the best care possible for our clients and help the clients stay where they want to be – in their homes. In my free time I like to spend time with my family - camping, being active outdoors, cheering on our boys in their various sports, volunteering in their schools and on the boards for the sports they play.

RN Case Manager / ADON

I began working at River Valley Homecare in 2020. I see clients in West St. Paul, South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, and Mendota Heights. I graduated from Century College with my ADN in 2019 and from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2021 with my BSN. I have worked in healthcare for the past 5 years in different settings including, homecare, nursing homes, and hospital . I love homecare because I am able to make meaningful connections with my clients and their families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, four cats, listening to true crime podcasts and doing DIY projects.

RN Case Manager / PCA Supervisor

I see clients in West St. Paul and South St. Paul. I have been a nurse for almost 1 year, graduated from National American University in Sioux Falls. I got into Home Care because I wanted to try something different that I have never had experience with before. No regrets with that decision, I love it! The one on one aspect of this position is amazing and makes the care that much more personal and tailored to my clients. In my free time I like to refinish furniture, spend time with my husband and dog Kyla, and go to the cabin with my family.

RN Case Manager

I see clients in Eagan and Apple Valley. I’ve been a nurse for 8 years and I’ve worked in the hospital and clinic setting prior to homecare. I graduated from Indiana University and then got my nursing degree from San Diego City College. I am so happy to be a home care nurse. I love getting to spend more time with my clients and help them stay in their homes. The flexibility of home care nursing has been a perfect fit for me and my family. In my free time I like to read, watch movies and be at our cabin with my family, friends and dogs.

RN Case Manager

I see clients in Apple Valley, Eagan, Rosemount, West St. Paul and South St. Paul. I graduated from Rasmussen University with my ADN and am currently pursuing my BSN at SMSU. I have been in the homecare industry for 2 years and found a growing passion to serve the community in which I live in. I also enjoy seeing the long-term results of the care being provided. In my free time I like to spend time with my family, travel, downhill ski and play pond hockey.

I have worked for River valley Home Care since 2011 and serve clients in Lakeville, Farmington and Burnsville. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1990. Upon graduation, I started my first job at Methodist Hospital working several different positions which included Medical.Surgical, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. When we moved I elected to stay at home and raise my children for the next 8 years. I then took a position as an elementary School Nurse in Illinois. We moved back to MN in 2011 when I started my position at River Valley Home Care. I find pleasure and fulfillment helping and serving others, and enjoy each and every one of my clients.Knowing that my visits help keep people in their home sbrings me great pleasure.In my free time I enjoy boating, long walks, church, and spending time with my family.

RN Case Manager

I began working at River Valley Homecare in 2021. I see clients in West St. Paul, South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, Hastings and Mendota Heights. I graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with my BSN in 2014. I have experience in different healthcare settings including, homecare, nursing homes, transitional care and the clinic. I love homecare because I am able to make that personal connection with my clients and their families. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching sports, being outdoors with my husband, kids and our Great Dane Daisy, and spending time with our friends and family.

Physical Therapist

I graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2015 with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and in 2018 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I've worked mostly in long term care and transitional care; I'm glad to now work in home care and be able to assist people to stay in their home for longer while maintaining independence and safety. I enjoy spending time with my family and taking walks in my free time.

I graduated from the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing in 2012, and have worked as a nurse in labor and delivery, long term care, and transitional care. I’m thankful to be serving as a nurse in home care because it’s such an honor to help clients work toward their health goals in their everyday lives at home. I see clients in Farmington, Lakeville, and Burnsville. When I’m not at work, I spend my time with my family and friends- feeding people, playing outdoors, reading aloud, and listening to good music.

Physical Therapist

I graduated from Chicago Medical School, and soon after returned to Minnesota. I have worked for River Valley Home Care since 2001. I service all of Dakota County. I love home care because I am able to help people of all ages, remain as safe and independent as possible in their homes. In my free time, I enjoy being active with my husband and our four children. I also love to reading, cooking, and baking.

Billing Specialist

I started working for River Valley Home Care in August 2016. My primary responsibility is now billing but I’ve also been the payroll specialist and assisted with administrative assistant duties. I grew up on a farm in southwestern Minnesota and graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management. My husband and I live in Apple Valley. We have two grown children. I enjoy walking, hiking, biking and doing Sudoku and crossword puzzles.

Occupational Therapist

I work predominately work in Dakota County; however, I will travel to Goodhue and  Rice counties as well. I have been an Occupational Therapist for 23 years and before that I was a Medic in the Air Force. I graduated from St. Catherine University. I got into home care because I can focus on giving quality care to each client and River Valley allows me to take the time needed to do that.

In my free time I like to spend time with my three children, travel, garden, walk my dog, swim, attend musicals & concerts and play the piano

Payroll Specialist

I began working for River Valley Home Care in November 2021 as the Payroll Specialist. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Business Administration with an emphasis in Management. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going for walks with my dog Shay, being outdoors, and crafting.

Home Health Aide

For over 30 years I have been a home health aide and worked in this industry because I enjoy working with people. I see clients in Northfield, Randolph, Cannon Falls, Elk New Market, Nerstrand, Kenyon and Kilkenny.

When I’m not at work, I spend my time going on different adventures, reading and spending time with my family.

HR

I have worked at River Valley Home Care since 2002. My position includes hiring of all staff, and taking all the new Client Referrals. I spend the majority of my day on the phone speaking with staff, clients, and a vast array of referral sources.I graduated from Rosemount High School. My interests are spending weekends in the summer at our place up north. fishing and bird watching.

I see clients in Lakeville, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Rosemount and Farmington. I have been a CNA for 3 years and a HHA for a total of one year. I attended a class with Dakota County Technical College to receive my CNA license. I got into Home Care because I love the one-on-one time spent with clients building trust and lasting relationships.

I love fishing, camping, four wheeling, walking my dog and playing video games.

I see clients in Burnsville and Eagan. I have been a nurse for 15 years, graduated from the University of Phoenix with Bachelors in Nursing and Inver Hills Community College, A.S. in Nursing. I love keeping people in their homes. Building relationship with ongoing visits is very rewarding, providing continued care allows me to see patients grow in knowledge and ability which allows them to maintain their independence. In my free time I like to spend time with my family.

Home Health Aide

I see clients in Farmington, Lakeville, Apple Valley, Burnsville and Rosemount. I’ve been a Home Health Aide for 27 years. I attended the technical college in Faribault, MN. I got into Home Care because I enjoy making people happy and brightening their day. I’m glad to help keep clients in their own homes. In my free time I like to take walks with my dogs. Also love camping, boating and kayaking.

I see clients in the Northfield, Faribault, Kenyon, Lonsdale, Montgomery and Kilkenny areas. I graduated from St. Olaf College and have been a nurse for 30 years. I got into homecare 13 years ago because of the flexibility of the job and it worked well with my growing family. I love taking care of people in the comfort of their own homes. In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends and so enjoy the outdoors!

Administrative Assistant

I am a part-time Administrative Assistant at River Valley Home Care Inc. I have been in the healthcare field for 6 years. I graduated from Christian Life Academy in Farmington and then attended Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to our cabin, boating, fishing, wakeboarding, tubing and four wheeling.

HHA

I see clients in Hastings, MN. I have been a Home Health Aide for River Valley since 2016. I got into Home care because I enjoy the 1:1 care that home care offers. I enjoy getting to spend time 1:1 with the client and getting to know them. I also enjoy the long-term relationships that are built. In my free time I like to read – anything and everything except science fiction. Being outdoors, going for walks and hikes, and visiting with friends.

I see clients in Hastings. I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2013 and have been an RN for the past 10 years. Home care is special to me as it offers more time to spend one on one with my clients. I enjoy seeing my clients grow in their healthcare knowledge and improve their lifestyle!

In my free time I love spending time with my husband, son, and dog Lulu. I will make any excuse to spend time in the great outdoors and enjoy traveling.

I got into Home care because of my love for helping others and I like being able to do that in their home. In my free time I like to spend time with my husband & our four children. We enjoy the outdoors, playing in and watching sporting events.

I see clients in South St. Paul, West St. Paul, Eagan, Inver Grove Heights and Mendota Heights. I have been a nurse for 2 years, graduated from the University of Minnesota with my B.A. in Psychology and Century College, A.S. in Nursing. I followed my long-time friend, who had nothing but great things to say about working for River Valley Home Care. I’m very grateful that I did, as it has been a perfect fit for myself and my family. Also, I am in the company of some truly wonderful fellow RNs, staff and leadership. In my free time I like to be present with all of those whom I love.

I started working for River Valley Home Care in 2023, I see clients in the West St. Paul, South St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights and Eagan areas. I have been a Registered Nurse for the past 3 years. I graduated from Century College. I got into Home care because I enjoy working with the clients in the comfort of their own home. Also, who doesn’t like the flexibility! In my free time I like to spend time with my kids biking, walking and going to the playground. I also like to read and travel.
